Trizanne Signature Wines Reserve Syrah, 2019

A mélange of savory notes touched with caramelized sugar, raspberries, brush. Palate presents with smoked bacon fat, tiny dark berries, blackberries and roasted coffee bean. The little bit of age on the bottle has brought out the complexities of this special wine made by Trizanne, a force in the South African winemaking community. A beautiful aura of calm layered with passion, Trizanne and her wines are elegant, fierce and comforting at the same moment.  100% Syrah from 17-year old, sustainable, dry-farmed vines in Elim. This fruit has allowed her to explore the more perfumed side of Syrah versus more the fruit-driven style of the Swartland.
